Dynamics 365 Business Central Support April '19 Support Ends in October of 2023

Whether you are aware of this or not, but Dynamics 365 Business Central April '19 support by Microsoft ends in October 2023. This the last version that that still had C/AL developer tools under the hood. Infernally, this version was numbered 14.0, which is the "golden number" we like to refer to.

So, what are your options?

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central 2022 Wave 2 Release, or, October 2022 version has been released.
This is an iterative release of the product with numerous updates across the application, plaform and development areas.

Dynamics 365 "Tenerife" has a new name

Yesterday, Microsoft has announced that Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations Business Edition will be re-branded as Dynamics 365 Business Central. The re-branded product is launching on April 2, 2018 bringing full Dynamics NAV capabilities to the cloud. In addition to the new product name, the release also adds application modules that so far were only available in the on premises version of the product, such as manufacturing, warehousing and service management.

Continuing from the last year, Directions conference will be have a dedicated event for the Asia region. This will be a first chance to take a look at the new features being released with full cloud version of NAV, code name "Tenerife".
